- 17 large Dances, 64 small Dances - 2 types of large Dance (bluecenter (r16, o20, y12, b8, i1) 9, purplecenter (r16, o16, y16, v1) 8) - 8 types of small Dance (redbox (r1, o16, y4) 16, purpcirc (r8, i1, v8) 16, exoinner (y8, G4, b4, i1, F4) 8, bluecirc (b12, i4, v1) 8, cardinal (r1, G4, b4, i4, v4, F4) 4, ordinal (r1, o4, y4, G4, b4, F4) 4, allgreen (G9) 4, allfuch (F9) 4) - 9 types of Dancer (r424 o580 y380 G116 b232 i81 v160 F116) - 2089 Dancers there are several hierarchies that interact with each other in weird ways. first, the hierarchies of individual dances - smaller dances are more important - the centralmost dance and the outermost dances are more important, with the dances becoming less important as one goes outwards - the single-color dances are more important than the others, directional dances similar but less so this combines to mean the ranking is roughly: centralmost dance outer single-color dances (8) outer "directional" dances (8) outer normal dances (8) inner large dances (8) innermost small dances (8) outer large dances (8) "quadrant" outer small dances (8x quadrant, 32 total) second, the hierarchies within dances - each dance has 3 or 4 rings, the importance rises as one gets closer to the centre of each dance - dancers along the cardinal lines are most important of the outer ones, then the ones along the ordinal lines: only one may occupy each per ring - dancers a diagonal apart are mutually less important than other dancers third, hierarchies between dancers - dancer colors are ranked in importance by how rare they are, meaning indigo is the most important and orange the least - there's a bunch of other classifications- dancers of individual aspects and such- that are represented by position in individual dances and among the dances, these have their own individual rankings and hierarchies, which generally serve to muddle the whole thing. so, say, the centralmost dancer... - is in the centralmost dance - is in the innermost ring - is indigo - is the leading scion of orderedness while the centralmost dancer of the "southernmost" dance... - is in a directional dance - is in the innermost ring - is red - is the trailing scion of orderedness generally the rankings within aspects can be summed up as - leading, trailing, occasionally middle scion ("lightning") (think "an angel rearranged the stars") - judge ("conflagration") (think "an angel caused a year without a winter") - messenger ("flame") (think "an angel told our nation...") - intercessor ("spark") (think "an angel told me to...") (those descriptions really vary with scale, depending on what's being dealt with an intercessor can very easily affect very large scale things) the aspects can be summed up as - creation, beginnings, healing (on all scales) - mercy and joy - uncreation, endings, punishment (on all scales) - protection and guardians (whether interpersonal, international, or g-dwise) - knowledge (esp relating to death) - guidance (esp relating to life) - things within creation (very iffy internal ranking) so let's take a big weird situation right note that when a speciifc dancer/angel is referred to it's really referring to a section-of-and-yet-the-whole-thing of a specific dancer. so a galaxy (overseen by a judge of things within creation) has a problem: a fucky hegemonizing empire or whatever is kind of terrorizing things, including various worlds with potential. as such, messengers of protection, knowledge, and guidance petition a judge of uncreation to bring about the collapse of this hegemonizing empire. a judge of mercy intervenes, because it's very typical for judges of uncreation to do overkill. they set out an agreement: an intercessor of guidance will do the whole remember-thou-art-mortal thing, which will convince the empire to make do with what it has. this will cause a gradual decline until a point of stability is reached. this goes into play, save for a couple similar incidents- a couple judges of individual star systems get a messenger of creation to cause a boom in the local bits of the empire, which gets the rest of the empire riled up again. in the end a scion of creation and healing tweaks a few things and semi-temporarily makes it so the empire is physically confined to the space it's in. i don't think i'm gonna go into the exact breakdowns and locations of each dancer per aspect, suffice to say that there are 298 dancers for each except creation uncreation and things within creation each have 299; and that each usually has 2-7 scions 6-35 judges 42-70 messengers and 105-210 intercessors, except things within creation where all are judges
